First round of promo's are now out! It's a series of postcards (8 total) that will go out every 45 days throughout the year. 

I just got back from a week long shoot in San Francisco. Man, what a great town that is. I was lucky enough to have a day off in the middle of the shoot to explore, catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and eat some amazing food. Thank you SF!

Meet Harry, my tailor. I've been going to him ever since I moved to San Diego and I finally went into his shop with my camera to shoot a few pictures.

Finding beauty in the simplest of things...

Meet Rosie and Johnny Walker. I know, I couldn't believe it either but yes, his name is really Johnny Walker and he may or may not REALLY love his alcohol (I'm not judging). This chain smoking duo have enough stories to tell to keep you in their sweet-ass double wide for days. A couple facts about Johnny: he has 1 1/2 lungs, no teeth, and is beyond happy to have purchased his 1970 Ford LTD from CraigsList. He wanted to take me for a ride to show me the horse power but I reluctantly turned down the offer due to his "love of alcohol." Cheers, Johnny.

I want you to meet Kaitlyn, the coolest little 4th grader in San Diego.  Kaitlyn lives a few houses down from Sarah and I.  We see her all the time cruising around the neighborhood with friends and can't help but admire her for her great style (TRANSFORMERS t-shirts!!), amazing spirit and spunky little attitude.

Last week Katilyn arrived on our doorstep selling calendars (which we couldn't resist buying) and Sarah and I finally had the opportunity to ask her if she'd be willing to let us take photos of her.  Her response, "yes of course." (so nonchalant!)  But, as she informed us, this isn't the first time she's been approached about being in front of the camera- she was once told that she should be in TV commercials.  We agree. She's rad.

She stopped by our place again yesterday...and brought a present for our dog Ruca... Gotta love that. Thank you Kaitlyn.
